Respiratory Viral Update for Southern CA

We have started to see some scattered RSV in the community. Not a lot, just enough to keep us testing and reporting. We have quite a bit of parainfluenza 1 from multiple sites. As you know, parainfluenza type 1 is a common virus associated with croup and is associated with outbreaks of croup type illnesses in the fall (despite the WARM temperatures, it is fall!).
