Viral respiratory season around the corner!

We are starting to see some circulating respiratory viruses of interest! Parainfluenza remains the most commonly isolated virus (second of course to Rhinovirus!). Adenovirus is a close second and so far RSV and Influenza far behind. There have been a few sporadic RSV positives reported in Southern California and the occasional Influenza A, but nothing too significant. Perfect time to start immunizing for influenza if you haven't already! Stay tuned for graphs, up to date reporting and percent positives (endemic monitoring) for RSV.
