Respiratory Viral Isolate Tracking is Back!

We are back from a restful, influenza and RSV-free summer and anxious to start our reporting.
Over the summer, although there was no reporting of influenza or RSV, we did have sporadic parainfluenza (primarily type 3) isolations.
We are excited to be adding three new sites to our reporting this season. We will be including data from Southern California Kaiser, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and Children's Hospital of Orange County, bringing our total number of reporting sites to 7.
This week one of our sites is reporting out our first influenza A isolation by direct testing. We will be updating our graph with weekly statistics in the next few weeks. Stay tuned.
